- There is a maximum of 3 singles events per player on any one day.
MAJOR AWARDS are up for grabs to the players who show the greatest level of achievement over the course of the twelve Maryland Circuit Tournaments in 2008. The top 10 point earners will be given prizes at the end of the year.
SERIES POINTS will be awarded as follows:
Rated Events -- 10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1............(10 pts.for 1st ... 1 pt. for 8th)
OPEN -- 12,10,8,6,4,3,2,1...................(12 pts.for 1st ... 1 pt. for 8th)
Doubles -- 6,4,2,1 (each player)............(6 pts.for 1st ... 1 pt. for 4th)
Juniors U-14 -- 10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1............(10 pts.for 1st ... 1 pt. for 8th)

Monthly Giant RR:
In addition to the Circuit, roughly every 3rd Saturday of each month there’s also a Giant Round Robin Tournament. Usually 10 players per group, so you can play many matches and have a lot of fun.|

Maryland Closed Tournament:
May 31st, 2008. Open only to residents of Maryland.Awards will be given in all events for 1st and 2nd place.
All events will begin and end on Saturday May 31st and all events are Round Robins.

DEADLINE:
6 p.m. Friday before the tournament. PLEASE PRE-REGISTER FOR EVENTS!! There will be a $5 surcharge per tournament if you do not pre-register.[TOP]
NOTES:
- All events are round-robin, best 3 of 5 to 11 points, with the two highest in each group advancing to a single elimination final. If there are only 2 groups, then the final is round-robin with carry-overs.
- Clothing: No cutoffs, tank tops, or shirts with large lettering/designs. Athletic Shoes must be worn.
- Additional Junior categories may be added if such additions are warranted by the entries.
- All events will be completed on the same day they are started.
- Unrated players may enter and win the novice event or even enter a rating-limited event but are not permitted to advance beyond the round-robin.
- Doubles may be single-elimination, depending on the number of entries.
- Prizes--Sunday: Events split available prize money 60/40 for first and second place players. Saturday: Trophies are awarded to the first and second place players.
